Welcome to Dulce Alpacas

Established in 2020, Dulce Alpacas is a small boutique stud located in South-Eastern, Victoria. 

Dulce Alpacas is proudly owned and run by sister duo, Georgia and Jacqueline Bishop. 

Our journey with alpacas began with the purchase of our first alpaca, Albert (a wether), as a companion to an injured foal. Soon after we learnt that alpacas should never be on their own and Auravale Pedro (Stewart) joined the herd. Since then our herd has quickly grown to having 40 alpacas on stud. 

We aim to breed alpacas that are gentle to handle with good confirmation and a low-micron fleece that is soft to the touch. 

Each year we produce beautiful natural and hand-dyed pure alpaca yarns that are available for purchase on our online store. All our yarns come from the shorn fibres of our alpacas annually making each lot unique and with its very own story. 

We are registered members of the Australian Alpaca Association.
